This handy feature provides the necessary space to attach a wide variety of tactical accessories. Beretta designed the 92A1 with a short, integrated mil-spec Picatinny rail forward of the trigger guard. Although the Beretta online store does offer a few choices, your best bet is to use one of these third-party stores. If I had to point to one annoying flaw in the 92A1, it would be the uncomfortable factory grips. I recommend checking out the Cloak Tuck 3. Their trademark materials and designs ingeniously provide security for your gun while also conforming to the wearer and repelling moisture. These top-notch options are much cheaper without any compromises in their quality. On the other hand, you could also opt for the American-made Alien Gear holsters. When it comes to buying a holster for the A1, there are two places to go for the best options. This recoil reducing mechanism means that the 92A1s are great for beginner and expert shooters alike. I can safely say that the Beretta 92A1 is outstandingly accurate and a pleasure to shoot. There are two major factors to consider when analyzing a weapons performance and efficiency: accuracy and handling. The rounded guard on these pistols not only prevents it from getting snagged, it also leaves more room for accessories. Additionally, they also threw on a disassembly latch which allows the 92A1 to be field-stripped without tools in seconds. Beretta crafted these handguns with a captive recoil spring assembly which makes cleaning both easier and faster. Besides these features, this semi-auto is also incredibly easy to take apart and put back together. The 92A1s have an incorporated ambidextrous safety as well as a reversible mag release. Beretta kept all of the engineering used in the previous models but went the extra mile to add several new and improved features. Starting with a base as dependable and effective as the M9, the A1 was destined to be a winner. Before we start going into detail, you should know that the firearm which the 92A1 was based on went through rigorous re-configurations. The bottom line is that since its release inthe 92A1 has solidified itself as a premier semi-automatic. For accuracy, I think both are equal. Some of their most popular semi-auto handguns are found in the 92 series. Don't have any experience on the 92f so Oct 28, 0 18 36 Montana. Just because I can't drive it well, some other Joe blow can. Great reliable pistol it is but past 20 yds forget it! Wondering if there is somewhere that will tinker with it to tighten things or what have you to allow better accuracy to be achieved. I would go with the beretta because the mags are way cheaper than the sig and the threaded barrels are a lot easier to get.
#BERETTA M9 VS GLOCK 17 DRIVER#
Re: Sig P vs Beretta 92a1 for Accuracy If acuracy is the tie breaker the win by a narrow margin, there are a few good smith that can make the 92 a tack driver but it is not cheap. For IWB, I prefer a single stack and love my Kahr PM9.Forums New posts Trending Search forums. For IWB, I'd take the G26 to have less barrel in the way when sitting. Either a G19 or a G26 is a great choice for OWB. The G26's grip being shorter helps it hide better under a shirt without printing too much. Between the G26 and the G19, I can't tell a whole lot of difference in weight with the right holster setup. It's too big and heavy to be comfortable to me. I'd never carry my 92, but I know there are TGOers who do. I've carried both the G26 and the G19 and I have a 92FS. Yours gives the concealability of the shorter barrel (more comfortable IWB) with the same options of 2 grip lengths.and no need for a hacksaw :) Spiffy's method gives the longer barrel length of the G19 with the option of either G26 or G19 grip length. :)Īctually, that makes the G26 into a G19S (for Short) It is the 15 + 1 G19 magazine since they are interchangeable. To expand on your statement my backup magazine when carrying a G26 is not the 10 + 1 G26 magazine.

I don't see much difference for home defense. I hope this isn't off topic, but I think we have addressed the G19 vs 92 question for concealed carry.
